Snap on makes rachets for mechanics. they replace them FOR FREE if they break. The engineers take them back for analysis so they can improve their products.
Imagine if the manager of a group of mechanics walked in one day with tools made out of such mild steel it was nearly cast iron, and insisted they were so great they are going to change the world. Someone would probably try them, maybe even pretend to really like them. Others would grit their teeth. Some may insist on informing them of the actual quality of the tools.
I would greatly empathize with that last group of mechanics right now.
